Crawford County Ag & Extension Board and Cooperative Extension believe it’s important to have an educator working with our families and individuals in Crawford County by providing resources and education to parents, aging population, financial education along with promoting health and well-being for all.
Amanda comes to Crawford County UW-Extension with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in the Arts. Additionally, she is a certified Family Life Educator from the National Council of Family Relations. Prior to accepting this position, Amanda was a Family Counselor at Alternative Treatment Associates based in Postville, IA, before served as Parent Educator at Crossing Rivers Health—Family Resource Center for over the past eleven years and as the Coordinator for the Crawford County Fair for the past six years. She grew up in Eastman, WI where her family farmed and where her love for family and community blossomed. Amanda and her husband live in Eastman to raise their son, to be close to family and to enjoy what this area has to offer. Amanda is pleased to be able to continue serving Crawford County with educational programing and resources to families and individuals. Amanda began her work with Crawford County UW-Extension on October 22 of 2018.
